Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Linford Christie, Olympic Champion, is lending his support to Celestines 13th London Marathon for the Stroke Association, a devastating disease which affects one third of the population regardless of gender, culture or age.

Celestines’ London Marathon experience over the last 13 years has included: running with a child in a sling, to illustrate fathers involvement and love for their children, fancy dress in a sari with full make up and jewellery, and in 1995, being the first and only person to run the London Marathon backwards.

For 20 years Celestine has supported over 20 charities, including: Help the Aged, Childline, Place 2 be, Macmillian Cancer, NSPCC, Lepra, International Red Cross, Newpin Fathers project, Local schools, Anthony Nolan Trust, Dreams Come True and many others.

Celestine has raised thousands of pounds in the past and now with Pepperton uk and your help he aims to raise thousands more, so please give generously for the Stroke Association and further show your support by emailing this to friends, family and colleagues.

If you would like to join Celestine in a post marathon celebration at Pepperton uk please contact us at pepperton1@yahoo.co.uk for more information.
