My story

Last year I cycled 500kms through harsh Kenyan Savanna to generate vital funds for children in Kenya and the UK. This September I plan to go that bit further and cycle in the high altitudes of the Peruvian Andes to raise funds for Children with Special Needs.

I need your help to raise £8,000 this year, a truly mountainous total!

I have already started a rigorous training schedule to be able to cope with the high altitude ride and expect to lose the weight I have put on since returning from Kenya.

Altitude sickness starts to affect you at around 8,000 feet and can kill you over 12,000 feet. I will be cycling up 14,000 feet mountain passes so this must be worth a fair bit of sponsorship!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children with Special Needs will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
