Story

Hi again!

After having done 'COLD' (Husky Sledding in the Arctic) in 2006 and 'HOT' (Desert Trek in Namibia) in 2007, this year I'm going UP! I'm doing a hiking trek in Peru, starting from Cuzco, through tropical rain forest filled valleys, over high mountain passes, all the way to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas! We will be trekking between 2,500 and 4,000 meters altitude, encountering all sorts of weather and camping out in basic tents. We will walk for up to 8 hours a day, over otherwise unused ancient Inca Trails, whilst our packs are carried by mules from local villages. I'm going with 'Across the Divide', a British organisation, who will donate money to local villages we travel through, to enhance sanitary and educational facilities.

Personally I'm raising money for RAIN ('Rescued Animals In Need'), a local animal charity, close to my heart. ALL MONEY raised will go 100% to RAIN, as I've funded the entire trek myself!!! Please help me raise much needed funds for this worthwhile charity.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: 'Rescued Animals in Need' will receive your money faster as well.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Pete
