British 10K London Run 2013 · 14 July 2013 ·

1 in 100 people have coeliac disease, yet only 36% are diagnosed. Coeliac UK empowers everyone affected, breaking down barriers, improving everyday life, offering trusted support and advancing research towards a cure. And we do it all so that one day, no one’s life will be limited by gluten.

Story

My name is Peter. I'm 22, I live with my family and cat Gorgeous George in Wimbledon, and have been a diagnosed coeliac for the best part of 10 years.

I'm running in the British 10K race this July to help raise awareness of what has been a life changing condition - both for my family and friends, and for myself.

Coeliac UK provides lifelong support to help people cope with the transition to a gluten free diet, and the huge challenges this causes. My aim is to raise as much money as I can so Coeliac UK can continue helping as many people as it can; especially younger people for whom the diagnosis is often extremely inhibiting.

Please donate as much or as little as you can, if anything just to see me get off my ass and actually do something strenuous (and worthwhile of course ;) )

Thank you :)
