Since hearing an interview years ago with a parent that had lost his son to leukemia I have been a keen supporter of the Anthony Nolan Trust. 

In 2001I was fortunate enough to match with and donate bone marrow to a patient and since then have continued to support the charity with various fundraising challenges including bungee jumps and a 600ft zip wire descent.  Not bad given that I'm not that keen on heights.

Thankfully for this one I'll be keeping my feet firmly on the ground!
