As you know this April I, Pete Dickinson will be running the Virgin London Marathon again. I decided to run the marathon last year simply because I wanted to challenge myself and do something I haven't before... This year I just want to beat my previous time, experience it again and raise some money for Depaul UK,
Depaul UK helps young people who are homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged. They are passionate about what they do, working in the very heart of local communities.
- They protect young people who become homeless by finding them a place to call their home. Each year they provide over 100,000 bed nights and they are open every day and night.
- They prevent young people from becoming homeless by rebuilding family relationships and offering through the gate support to young offenders.
- They provide young people with the chance to fulfil their potential in the community through education, volunteering, training and jobs.
Since 1989 they have helped over 45,000 young people and are now the largest UK charity for young homeless people.
