Story

Hello,

Thank you for visiting my Just giving page for Macmillan Cancer Support Charity. So what is this all about... well last year I got fed up with the commute to work in London, sweaty, crampt horrible and generally found myself at the mercy of the London Bus Driver! I ditched all this for a bike and now a year and a bit later I'm enjoying it so much I've signed up to take part in Cycling to London to Paris.

Why are you doing this?
For the challenge, for the sense of acheivement, in order to stop having so many late nights and bottles of vino but above all being able to raise money for Macmillan.

Sadly the majority of you reading this will know of someone who has had to deal with Cancer, many of you will know people who lost the battle with this crappy illness. I'm no exception to this and I know that amongst other charities, Macmillan provide fantastic support to what can be the most difficult of times.

So whilst I am fit(ish), and got both of my legs, I'm going to put my bum into gear (with the help of my bike) and pedal to paris to make a difference.

It isn't going to be easy and I have to get into training now in order to stand any chance of even making it to the channel. Your support via any donation will do more than a little to spur me on and make sure the 440 kilometres get done for this brilliant cause.

Thanks for your time and please pass this link around!
