<p>Janey has received fantastic treatment and support from Health Services both in the UK and in New Zealand and as a result has just made it to the big "60" year marker, which is an event that both of us had great difficulty in foreseeing on numerous occasions. On the horizon is the possibility of a further year of a new treatment for Janey as her strain of virus has so far been resistant to all treatments. It would be very fitting if my trip to Nepal could help put something back in appreciation. I leave on Thursday 26th April for three weeks trekking to 18,000ft with friends who are working at Base Camp for another charity.
