Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in December 2010, just 2 months after my younger sister Florence was diagnosed with the same disease. Luckily having 3 doctors in the family (both parents and my older sister) has allowed us to have a good understanding of how to live and manage a life with diabetes.

I have decided to run the Bath half marathon as I see it as a good challenge and the training has taught me a lot about controling my diabetes through exercise. I am running for Diabetes UK who I really think are a great charity. My sister ran for them a few years ago and they were very supportive.

Thanks again for visiting my page, if you can spare a few pounds for a great cause that would be fantastic.
