Story

Thanks for visiting Peter Bray's North Atlantic Challenge page which is raising money directly for the Help for Heroes charity that supports wounded armed services personnel in the UK.

Pete is a former SAS sergeant and boat specialist who is a dedicated adventurer. Later in 2009 he will row solo and unsupported across the difficult North Atlantic route from Newfoundland to the Scilly Isles. It's a very tough challenge, but Pete has been there before as he's the first person to have crossed the North Atlantic solo and unsupported in a Kayak!

His primary charity for this challenge is Help for Heroes, something close to his heart having been a frontline soldier who saw, and continues to see, many comrades come home wounded and left on their own to handle a poor care system and ignorant Government. Pete also aims to crack the world record for the solo row challenge which is 64 days.
