Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Wood Green Animal Shelters gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
My event is a solo 200-mile cycling ride from my home in Cambridge to the Peak District. Spread over ONLY 5 days, travelling about 40 miles a day I hope to have a great adventure, as well as raise money for the charity thats closest to my heart - Wood Green Animal Shelters.
The reason I chose to fundraise for Wood Green, is because my family dog, Pickle came from there. He was a rescue dog, from a troubled background. Wood Green nurtured him back to health, and found him a new home - ours. At only 2 years of age, Pickle went missing - let loose by a kennels he was staying at while we went on holiday. We searched for days, putting up posters all around, until only a few days later, we got a call. Pickle had ventured 10 miles away, but was safe and sound - other than sore paws from his adventure. Sadly, Pickle is no longer with us, but this event is my way to say a huge thanks to Wood Green for all the brilliant work they do every day. I hope you can join me in supporting them.
Departing on Tuesday 5th May, I will travel through Huntingdon, Peterborough, Grantham, Mansfield, Sheffield, and then Glossop and the finish line on, or before Sunday 10th May!
This is the biggest challenge I have ever attempted, so I hope I can count on your support to make it really worth it! Many thanks.
WOOD GREEN ANIMAL SHELTERS isnt eligible for government funding, and so relies solely on public donations to continue their vital work. Thankyou.
