The Stroke Association - The Thames Bridges Bike Ride · 11 May 2008 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Yes, for the third year in a row I will be taking part in the Thames Bridges Bike Ride, in support of the Stroke Associaiton.

33 miles through London, criss-crossing 14 bridges (not to mention a couple of places where you have to carry your bike over railway bridges!).

It's a fun ride if it's sunny:  last year's ride was incredibly cold and wet!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
