How did I get to be involved in the Lands’ End to John O’Groats bike ride? Well, I dislocated my knee and fractured a bone in my leg a couple of years ago and in true Forest Gump style I kept on peddling - straight through rehab, into the gym, on to the London to Brighton, through New Zealand and now LEJOG. To be serious, who doesn’t know someone that’s been affected by Cancer? Macmillan Cancer Support is an amazing charity and I’m extremely proud to be doing something to help - and the 980 miles, that’s just detail… :o)
