Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Peter died of sepsis on Friday 11 October 2013 in Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury. His funeral will take place at 1pm on Tuesday 29 October 2013 at Chilterns Crematorium in Amersham.

Rather that floral tributes on the day, we are asking for donations to the UK Sepsis Trust in Peter's name.
