I am running the Manchester 10k run. I know, unbelievable. But my mate Shaun Chilton made me do it.  As you can see from my photograph, I come from a long family of runners, so much so that it is believed that the family has the genes of a cheetah. Certainly there's something about Uncle Leopold that we never mentioned at family gatherings! Anyway, I have been going to the gym 4 times a week since Christmas to train and I have lost over 2 stones. Seriously, I have, stop shaking your head in that knowing all  fashion, I really have, I promise!

So dip your hand in your pocket and pledge big time. I want your inheritance, the deeds to your house, a months wages and your childrens savings. Come on you know I deserve it more than you. It is going to Arthritis Research. Those of you who know me, know it is close to my heart so you lot should pledge even more!
