Story

I'm taking part in the GREAT SCOTTISH RUN on Sunday 7th September 2008 and I'm planning on running 10 kilometres!

That's right... Formerly known as One Speed Pete ('slow'), I have transformed myself into Two Speed Pete ('slow' and 'not so slow').

My spirits are high and training is going well. I have managed once round the block now without  passing out or voming which is very promising!

I'm running to raise money for the Red Cross because I would get sacked if I did it for another charity.

I will be carrying a handy plastic fundraising cup around the course if you would like to chuck a few quid my way. However, due to the venue, i.e. the streets o Glasgae, it is unlikely that my handy plastic cup will make it all the way to the finish intact. It would probably be easier just to donate here on my very own FUNDRAISING WEB PAGE!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, dead easy and probably totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me for the reason above: British Red Cross gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation...so if you give me 10p, I'll end up with 12.8p..ya see!

So please sponsor me now!

                            Awooga!
