By our standards the costs involved are not high. 50 pounds (60 euros) can pay for an entire year's school fees. 5 pounds would cover the cost of a months accommodation for a child who had to travel from a rural area to attend school in a town.

The Order of Malta, a charitable organisation, has generously agreed to match and then double whatever money I raise up to £1000.
