Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I am sure you all know someone or some people whose lives have been affected by Cancer in the past.  Last year, a very good friend and colleague of mine, Richie Rees (former pilot and Flt Cdr with 33 Sqn), tragically lost his battle against cancer.  When Richie was alive we discussed my doing an endurance event of some sort to raise money for a cancer related charity.

I would be grateful if you could give a donation, however small to this worthwhile cause.

I am taking part in the Austrian Ironman Triathlon on 16 Jul 06 which involves a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike race and casually finishes with a marathon run!!!    http://www.ironmanaustria.at/

You can view my progress on the day (16 July 2006) from the comfort of your armchair at http://ironman.com/ironmanlive  I will be wishing I had that luxury on the day!!!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!  And forward this to as many people as possible.  We can never raise enough for this cause!!!!

Many thanks for your support.

 Pete

P.S. I must mention my 'boss', AKA Rachel, who has been extremely supportive and gave me permisson to train for the last 9 months for this event.   Thank you, you are the best!
