Story
On the Monday of Walk to Work Week (26th April) I walked 15.5 miles from my home in Harrow to my workplace in Whetstone in aid of St Luke's Hospice which does a great job generally but was particularly good to two friends of mine and their mum when she died earlier this year.
In walking to work (but not home again!) I also completed the second of my circumnavigations of London, this time the 78 miles of the Capital Ring, the rest of which I walked during Lent (having completed the 150 miles of the LOOP over 18 months ending in February this year).
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to St Luke's and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation.
I hope you'll agree that this is a great cause and although I've reached my target any further donations will be most welcome.
And, finally, thank you very much indeed to those of you who have sponsored me, it's been great to have such wonderful support and to have raised over £700.
Peter
