My story
Sometimes as I am trogging round the streets of Lymington I wonder why I am doing it. After all at my age, coming up to 60, I should be sitting down getting excitement from reading seed cataolgues and so on. Boring stuff, I can do that when I get old. Instead I thought I would use my running to raise some funds for Coeliac Uk. I don't suffer from Coeliac disease but my mother does and I also have a wide circle of friends and customers who do. It is what I term a "quiet" disease. Seldom heard and the suffers tend to "get on with it" rather than make a song and dance. If, by taking part in "the London", I can raise a few bob and make my voice heard than perhaps, just perhaps, we can all make the lives of sufferers that little bit more easy. Go on, I am going to get freezing cold this winter and pretend I enjoy it. You will make my efforts so much easier if you sponsor me now. At least I will know I have got to do it.
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Coeliac UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
