<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">Thanks to all of you who are supporting this challenge. I have to announce that Michael and I shall not be riding in June but in August. There has been a slight hitch - I needed to raise lots more before the end of March and so the trip has been put back - but nevermind - more training, more working out with Michael and we should be set to go 31 August with your continued support.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">The ride still starts at </span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">Crystal Palace in London to arrive at the Eiffel Tower in Paris on Saturday 3 September, 500 km later. The winter training was really bad with howling gales , sub-zero temperatures and the snow : my bike came back looking like a Turner Prize! Let's hope the summer can be like its been over Easter!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">So all the fancy stuff about diets and electrolytes are encouraging in the armchair - getting out and turning the pedals is what it is all about - so I'm off!</span></p>
