Yes, we have signed up for the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 12 October 2008!
We are raising money for a primary school in Guatemala, which Peters & Peters is sponsoring this year. The school is in one of the poorest areas in Guatemala, and the children are struggling to learn in temporary, makeshift shelters which provide little protection against the rain or sun.
Peters & Peters is aiming to raise £16,529.30 over the course of the year, which will allow the school to build one classroom, a library, playground, rainwater harvesting facility and 3 latrines, and will also provide training for the school’s 3 teachers, school principal and community members.
This really is a great cause, and we are grateful for your support.
