Well you've made the first step and visited our fundraising page.  All you have to do now is follow the four simple steps:

First - Read about what we are going to do.....

Second - Think smugly about how you are not going to be spending 5 days in sub-zero temperatures on the back of a sled with no home comforts

Thirdly - Take a moment to think about why we are doing this.  Battersea's aim is to rescue, reunite, rehabilitate & rehome all the lost and abandoned dogs & cats that come into its care - some 30 a day -this requires a lot of funding!

So the Plan!.....On the 23rd March we will be leaving Binsted and heading off for the Arctic for a once in a lifetime experience.  Each on individual sleds pulled by 4-6 huskies the twelve team members will be sledding over 200 kilometres from our base camp into the wilds of the most northern European country of Norway.  We will have to learn to rely on our dogs as much (and probably more) than they will have to rely on us for control, direction and of course food.
