Well it's true.  Having previously not been able to run for a bus, I have now signed up to run 13 and a bit miles. You may want to laugh at me as I put myself through the agonies of training, and eventually the pain of Great North Run itself (let's face it, I'm not an natural athlete), but I don't care, as long as you sponsor me!

To be honest, I didn’t know anything about The Bobath Centre until a friend’s baby sustained considerable brain injury during birth, and as a result cerebral palsy. A child who has cerebral palsy can find it hard to control their muscles, maintain postures and co-ordinate movement and this can make simple activities like getting dressed, eating or playing difficult to do.

Having heard and read about the Bobath Centre’s work as a specialist treatment centre, I decided that this was something definitely worth running over 13 miles for. I hope you agree.......AND SPONSOR ME NOW!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bobath Centre For Children With Cerebral Palsy gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
