Global Justice Now is a democratic social justice organisation working as part of a global movement to create a more just and equal world. We mobilise people in the UK for change, and act in solidarity with those fighting injustice.

Story

Help! am cycling 20km* in a Triathlon this weekend - I need to oil my bike, pump up the tyres (which should make it go a bit faster) remove the mudguards (which should make me go super fast) and somehow raise lots of money for charity - if bike maintenance is not your thing you can sponsor me with the justgiving-y thing below.

*well technically I'm cycling 60km because I've got to cycle to and from the venue. For some bizarre reason the London Triathlon recommend you 'come by car' and I don't have a car, I have a bike.

I'm raising money for the World Development Movement - yes I work there, but it's a kick-ass super cool organisation which is doing lots of work on climate change, fair trade, sorting out the mess of the financial crisis, and generally doing lots of anti-poverty stuff.  And we need the cash badly. Plus if you donate through this page, Alistair Darling will add on some gift-aid as a little extra. Which is lovely, even if he has freaky eye-brows.

I'll buy you a pint / give you a hug if you sponsor me! xxx

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: World Development Movement gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
