In October this year my Dad, myself and a band of merry explorers are going to attempt the trek to Everest base camp and beyond to the summit of Kala Pathar (Black rock), which at 5545m overlooks the Everest glacier. It will take approx 18 days to reach the summit and back down.

As every single one of you has some connection with the military, be it serving, a friend, family or loved one and both Dad and myself have served I would like to do this trek and raise money for 'Help for Heroes'. I appreciate that times are hard and spare money is a luxury that a lot of people don't have but I am asking you to think of the folks who have put their own lives on the line in the line of duty and dig as deep as you dare to support me in this vital task of raising funds to give those injured and their families a better life.
