Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I am a Big Cat Keeper at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent and from the 7th - 18th April 2005, I will be taking part in the Marathon Des Sables, billed as the 'toughest footrace on Earth!'

Competitors will run 150 miles (the equivalent of 5 and a half regular marathons), across the Sahara desert in 7 days whilst carrying all our own equipment!

Why am I doing this?
To save the Barbary Lion! The reason I am doing this is so that I can raise £10,000 in sponsorship for The John Aspinall Foundation. These funds will enable The Barbary Lion Project to continue at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park.
These majestic creatures are extinct in their native country of Morocco. Port Lympne is proud to be the only collection in the UK breeding the Barbary Lion and we hope to return some of these lions to their natural habitat. So please sponsor me now and help me to save the Barbary Lion!!! Many thanks for your support.
