British 10k London Run 2007 · 1 July 2007 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

This run is in memory of Norman Santa Maria, who passed away from pancreatic cancer earlier this year, and to raise awareness of this very aggressive form of cancer.

Pancreatic cancer is the fifth most common cause of cancer death in Europe and USA, and the 7000 cases which present each year in the UK have a median survival of four to six months and a five year survival of less than 3%.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Pancreatic Cancer UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
