Great Manchester Run 2008 · 18 May 2008 ·

Francis House supports more than 435 families of children, teenagers and young adults with life-shortening or life-threatening conditions. We need over £5.8 million in charitable donations each year to continue to provide our services. Thank you for your support.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

All of us here at PFJ and GRC Manchester are attempting the 10k Great Manchester Run on Sunday May 18th in aid of the Rainbow Family Trust, Francis House Childrens Hospice.  As you are probably aware, most of us are currently not capable of walking 10k never mind running, so therefore we will shortly be entering a period of  high intensity training (or at least some of us will)!

Attempting the run will be Alex Gee, Caroline Jones, Ben Keegan, Francesca Tatarowicz, Dave Hardy, Ceri Scott, Laura Lopez and Ashley Stewardson.

For those who are unaware, Francis House is a very special hospice caring for terminally ill children. Criteria for entry into the hospice is the child has been diagnosed as having 'no cure'. It is therefore unlikely that these children will become adults, and consequently the House tries to improve the quality of their short lives.

Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Rainbow Family Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us all now!

Many thanks for your support.
