The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

Thank you for visiting this sponsorship page detailing my London Marathon 2007 run for the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (SDBTT will use the funds in one of a number of ways but I am running in memory of Claire Rowland).

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (SDBTT) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Yes, I will be running the 26.2 miles as a pink pig (see pic). Claire Rowland was the daughter of one of my work colleagues, Tony. Claire died last year of a brain tumour. A pig was apparently Claire's favourite animal and when I said I would run in aid of the charity, her father kindly pointed this out to me!

So please look out for me on the route and give me a cheer. If you're also able to sponsor me and the fund we would be very grateful!

Many thanks for your support.
