Phil’s attempt to climb the west face of Ben Hope 8 times was a success!

He managed to complete his challenge in 23hours and 26 minutes with real grit and determination- his first ascent and descent completed in 1hour 50 minutes! The last two descents in pitch black were the toughest but his dedicated support team and fellow climbers kept him going, leaving food and water at strategic points and encouraging him to keep going!
