Hope and Aid Direct - Solent Coasts Cycling Challenge 2008 · 21 June 2008 ·

We are all unpaid volunteers. We drive trucks and deliver humanitarian aid directly to people living in extreme poverty. Our current focus is the refugee crisis, as well as our commitment to Kosovo. Aid has been taken to Lesbos, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Romania, Philippines, & Syria.

Story

Dear All

Having survived the London to Brighton last year on burgers and Michelle's patience, I've decided to up my game for this years entertainment and do the Solent Challenge again.  Its entitled "66 miles and 6 ferries", a round trip from the mouth of the Hamble, through the New Forest, over the IoW, back to Pompey then along the coast to home and a big mug of hot chocolate.

Chelle is once again doing it with me, although I may elect this year to bin the helmet cos look at the state of my chin!

As ever, it is for charity and this year we've picked one that is focussed on humanitarian aid, especially with all the horrible stuff thats happened through natural disasters in the last few weeks.  Please give generously.....

I will endeavour to drop an email round after my event explaining how sore my arse is.  Its a given.  A honed athlete I am not.

Thanks in advance for your impending generosity
