SNOWDON ROCKS 2 [21st June 2008]

So I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although the weather on the day was abysmal, nothing could have stopped me reaching the summit of Mount Snowdon. Visibility at the top was virtually zero (or so it seemed to me). I guess I will just have to do it again now to take in the spectacular views I had heard so much about.

Maybe YOU could join me!

Mike Peters is doing a great job and his input on the day made it a 'special event'. Special mention also to Nick Harper who sang a moving song at half-way point with his own lyrics influenced I'm sure on personal experience. Great motivation. He then followed this up at the top with a nutty version of Monty Python's Galaxy Song.....

THANKS to my lovely wife Michele and our kids Alex & George who turned out in the freezing cold to wave me off - and also for presenting me the next day with the biggest and bestest home made 'well done' medal'. I did it for you!!!!
