African Revival - Zambia Bike Challenge · 16 May 2009 ·

Our vision is an Africa where every child has equal access to quality education, as we believe education is the key to overcoming poverty. We provide infrastructure and empower whole communities to transform schools into thriving learning environments that build brighter, better futures.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I am going to be cycling 500km in Zambia for the African Revival Charilty. I am hoping that this will help my waist-line, and help me better understand our neighbours in Africa, but more importantly the money I raise will help this charity.

The founder of this charity is an insurance broker friend of mine, Tony Allen. His company, Allen & Allen, provides the charity with administrative support, and Tony himself takes a direct interest in its projects.

It's a wonderfuI endeavour and I do believe that AR's emphasis on improving education is very worthwhile. While I am there I will be visiting one of their projects at Maziba Farm. You can read about this on their web-site at africanrevival.org.

I will be paying my own costs, so every penny that you donate will go directly to the charity.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: African Revival gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
