My story

 

My son Robert (17) has a degenerative eyesight condition (macular dystrophy) which is causing the gradual deterioration of his sight. At the moment there is no cure for this condition but I am raising money to support reserch toward finding a cure and giving Robert, and others like him, the best opportunity to a have a full and rewarding life

Over the next 12 months I am aiming to raise £5000 for RP Fighting Blindness.  Thanks to generous support Ive made a good start by completing the 61.5 mile London to Oxford Bike Ride on 5th July.  With your help Ive been able to add to that by completing the Fastnet off shore yacht race on board  a 40 foot racing yacht in 5days and 19h. 

There is still a long way to go to reach my fundraising target so watch this space for details of my next venture!
