Story
Thanks for visiting my Just Giving page, it's much appreciated already!! For those of you unaware of my annual rides it's been going on for nearly 6 years and began with a drunken agreement to ride from Sheffield to the NEC for the BHF. Since then I've made it an annual challenge to get in some kind of shape and raise some much needed cash. The total is somewhere over £4k and I want to break the £1k barrier for the first time.
This year due to changes in the events I'm reverting back to my usual two cycle rides:
Sunday April 27th - White Peak Challenge
This is a nice 29 mile route through the Peak District with various bits of off road involved. It's just a small ride to get the legs and backside prepared for the proper ride.
Sunday May 11th - Over The Edge
This is the 55 mile Gold route in the west Yorkshire Moors which includes the longest single incline in England. A 6 mile climb up Cragg Vale towards the end of the ride.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. HSBC will match any sponsorship £-for-£, but please don't take this to mean you can just give me half what you would normally.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
P.S.
That picture is of me after the gold route in 2006, the grimace/smile was forced!
