You are (hopefully) sponsoring me to complete a gruelling 500 Km cycle ride through Vietnam and Cambodia (Saigon to Angkor Wat) in 7 days!       I will completing this from 6th November raising funds for Cherry Lodge as part of my 'long leave' from work.

Why Cherry Lodge? I have been involved in raising funds previously through Waitrose and wanted to do something specific in memory of Beth Harvey. She was inspirational in her drive, determination and commitment to her role of fundraiser even during her own final fight against cancer.

What is 'Long leave'? Having completed over 25 years service for John Lewis each 'Partner' is rewarded with a career break on full pay for six months. This is in recognition of the commitment shown to this unique, democratic business and was introduced following the 50th anniversary of the 'Partnership'. There is no obligation in how to use this career break - how fantastic is that!!
