Our personal message:

A big thank you to everybody who put their hands in their pockets to support our cause - hugely appreciated by everybody at home and at the Campaign.

Over £3000 and still climbing so well done to one and all.

Marathon day went very well.  Bit rainy with a spot of hail to keep us focussed - managed a personal worse (4hr 18') but I put that down to the 10,000 glasses of red wine that have passed my way since I last did it.  Feeble excuse - but true.

Seem to remember being overtaken by a Womble near Tower Bridge and by a Banana talking into his mobile phone ("...okay, see you at the finish in about quarter of an hour...")  on the Embankment.  Success is relative - being beaten by a talking fruit and Uncle Bulgaria.

Many thanks, again, for your support.

Phil
