The SVP Children's Camp (Leeds cntral council) runs every year for a week during the summer and aims to give children a great holiday in a caring environment which they may not otherwise experience. Children come to the camp from a variety of backgrounds which can include, one parent families, overcrowding at home, alcohol and drug abuse within the family, recent bereavements, or perhaps they may be in care. Approximately 70 children enjoy a week of camping under canvas and the week is full of varying activities. The camp is organised and run by volunteers who give up there own time to attend the camp, year after year.

All the children that benefit from the camps are from the Leeds and huddersfield area and the money raised will go towards improving the camo and purchasing new equipment such as new tents and sports equipment damaged in recent flooding.
