Last year I took part in the London 10K Run and raised about £350 for International Alert. I managed it in 54 minutes and am aiming to get closer to 50 minutes this year - which is probably appropriate as I am now 50 years old...

I am not necessarily looking for large amounts of money from sponsors.   £5, £10, or whatever you want to give is plenty, and will be well used by Alert in support of our peacebuilding work. 

What we offer the people we work with in 20 countries affected by conflict is solidarity, support and assistance in their endeavour to find long-lasting solutions to the problems which keep them unsafe, in fear and in poverty.
