Hi all,
As some of you may be aware I am fighting in a charity white-collar boxing event on October 27th, dramatically named "The Showdown at St. Paul's". It is an Insurance industry event, and I know some of you are coming along to support/heckle (delete as applicable).
We are now reaching the latter stages of our training, which has been great fun, but only time will tell whether I have learnt enough to avoid complete embarrassment on the night......
Most people who know me will realise that early morning runs and four nights a week in the gym are not really my forte, but I am not doing this purely for personal gain. I am aiming to raise money for the Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners trust (RAPt), and would greatly appreciate your support with this. I personally do some voluntary work in association with this charity, and the job they do with prisons up and down the country is fantastic. Their aim is to help drug addicts and alcoholics in prison to beat their addictions, and consequently to break the cycle of reoffending and to help them become active members of society. The charity relies largely on voluntary work, and every penny is extremely gratefully received.
Many thanks for your support.
