Now...I've done something a little silly... I've signed up to a cycle...not to Brighton...not to Paris...but this time it's in Vietnam! I will be cycling close to 700km!! As you can imagine, this is a major challenge, taking into account the distance, the heat and the hills I'll be dominating (or not!?).
I head off in October. I will obviously be training my socks off over the next few months!! What will also take a lot of hard work, is raising the required £2,750 for charity in aid of the Brain and Spine Foundation.
This charity provides support to those people affected by brain and spine conditions in the UK and develops training for medical and educational professionals dealing with the effects of brain and spine conditions. I think it's a fantastic cause, which can help so many people because of the wide span of conditions it covers. For example, these include people suffering with: strokes, multiple sclerosis, head injuries, brain and spinal tumours and motor neurone disease.
