Cycle Ride - Land's End to John O'Groats

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Somehow I've been talked into cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats in just 9 days, which is approx 900+ miles and even further if we get lost and refuse to ask for directions!

We start this epic journey on the 18th July from Lands End, travelling up the west side of the country and staying overnight with friends, family and people we dont know who have kindly offered us free accommodation for the night.

All proceeds on this occasion will be to help support development plans for our children's project in Ecuador. La Fuente has been running for about 18 months. We are trying to raise funds to buy a new building for the project.

We have been operating a bit like an after school project, where the children go to state school in the morning then come on to us at about 12:45.

We provide them with a nutrional lunch and then help them with their education/home work. We also try to vary the programme with the children doing craft, cooking, sport and computer work etc. At Christmas we gave the children some new clothes and presents because of help from supporters in the UK. This summer we launch our youth work program.
