1) It raises cancer awareness amongst windsurfers through education and so promotes early diagnosis and healthy lifestyles to reduce the incidence of the disease. 2) It improves the understanding of cancer and helps increase survival rates by sponsoring specific research projects.

My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I have never felt so passionate about a cause. We have all been affected by cancer in our lives. Some of us have been observes when a friend or loved one becomes ill, others of us may have gone though it ourselves. In many cases a little knowledge can often change the outcome whether it be knowing what to look for and getting an early diagnosis or, having someone explain to us what to expect. Awareness is the key and that is what this charity is all about.
