Yes, me the former t.v. watching; party-food eating; knitting queen couch potato is running a marathon - all 26 and a bit miles of it; and i need your support. Not only will your cash help me to get out there training, and complete the race, it will also go to help a really great cause.
I never really knew what valuable work the British Red Cross did until i worked for them (no brain washing involved, i promise). They help people in the UK, (supporting people coming out of hospital; supporting people who have had house fires; teaching cover-up make up for those with visible scars; or learning first aid to name but a few services); they also help individuals overseas (caught up in areas of conflict, or natural disasters).
It was easy to pick the British Red Cross as the charity to support, and feel very honoured to be running for them - I know that any contribution that you make will be appreciated.
