My story

Update

I started the marathon on Sunday, after some concern that I might pull out due to a knee tendon injury - I didn't train for 4 weeks preceding the race.

Unfortunately, I didn't finish the race due to the injury flaring up on 18 miles. I do intend to enter again next year, and I have other challenges before that - a triathlon in the summer, and the Berlin marathon in September.

Thank you very much for your support and I'm sorry I didn't manage to complete the race.

Phil

Hi

I'll be running the London Marathon on 17th April 2011, raising funds for Sense, a charity that helps deafblind people in the UK.

It's a good cause, and it'll be a big effort, so I'd appreciate your support. I'll update here periodically with my training progress.

thanks

Phil
