Walk to Rome 2008 · 30 January 2008

Motivation is a global disability and development charity. Our wheelchairs, training and services provide opportunities that transform the lives of disabled people in developing countries.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Motivation Charitable Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

I will be walking 1,200 miles to Rome alone the Via Francigena, the ancient pilgrim route, written down in 970AD by Sigeric, Archbishop of Canterbury, and formerly a monk of Glastonbury Abbey in Somerset.

Can you spare £12, a penny a mile for people in developing countries who have mobility disabilities? If so please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support, Phil.
