About my charity : The Ear Trust The Ear Trust
The Ear Trust helps in the diagnosis and management of profoundly deaf babies, children and adults mainly in the North of England. It also supplies information on cochlear implantation for families and professionals, supports regular local and national workshops and aids development of assessment and rehabilitation materials.

My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Finlay, our son was diagnosed as profoundly deaf in May 2006. As there was no history of deafness in either of our families this came as a total shock and we though our world had ended.

Since that time the help and support Finlay has received have been nothing short of miraculous from the Bradford cochlear implant team.

It's time we gave something back so I am aiming to raise as much money as possible my running the Leeds half marathon!!!
