Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Hello!

We (Mike and Phil) are two medical students about to embark on a cycling adventure from Leicester (UK) to Geneva (Switzerland), all the while hoping to raise vital funds for the wonderful research and supportive work of Parkinson's UK.

Having seen and lived through the direct impacts of Parkinson's Disease in one of our close family members, we are honoured to advocate for all individuals affected by this troubling neurological condition. This means - to all those with the disease, to all their family members, carers, friends and all healthcare workers who treat and manage the condition - this one is for you!

Please, friends far and wide, new and old, support Parkinson's UK through donating via this page. No matter how big or small the donation, it all adds up. Our dream goal is to raise £1 per mile of cycling - and we estimate our route will be roughly 1,000 miles. (So that's £1,000!!)

We'll keep you updated throughout our trip via www.philandtropical.com

We are grateful for your time visiting our JustGiving Page. Thank you for your support.
