This summer I am cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We are all affected by cancer and I am no exception. I am dedicating this cycle ride to my Dad who passed away a little over 12 months ago from cancer.

Although I have always been an active person I am fairly new to cycling (I'm sure you'll all agree that my Raleigh Chopper experience aged 10 doesn't count!) I have however, been training over the year to prepare for the challenge.

I will set off from Land's End on Monday 11th June 2012.
